f. 9v, St Mark the Evangelist enthroned and a standing witness
The Evangelist is seated upon a throne with a Byzantine-style cushion. His right hand is raised as if to bless the witness and he holds the scroll in his left. The witness carries a closed book. The symbol, a lion, can be seen in the upper part.
