The artist that illustrated the lasts sections of Brunetto Latini’s book, whose content dealt basically with ethics and moral, turned to the conventional procedures of medieval miniaturists. Therefore, these miniatures portray the author as a teacher lecturing like a university professor to clergymen students. Each scene is portrayed beneath architectonic arches breaking the miniatures down into different areas: the teacher appears under one arch and the pupils under another.
