Farming work is the main theme of the March scenes in this manuscript. On f. 20v, we see an angry-looking peasant who stops working to greet the lady - more out of obligation than devotion -, who gestures energetically to him. On f. 21r, another peasant is working the land with a plough, very advanced for the time, pulled by a pair of horses. A wonderful testimony to the agricultural techniques of the time.
